What is Moringa?
Moringa (botanical name, Moringa Oleifera Lam) is one of the world’s most powerful natural sources of vitamins and nutrients.
It is variously referred to as the ‘miracle tree’, ‘tree of life’, ‘drumstick tree’, ‘horse radish tree’, ‘ben oil tree’, or ‘benzoil tree’. Moringa Oleifera Lam originates from the southern foothills of the Himalayas in north-western India, is cultivated in Africa and Asia and comes from the flowering plant family Moringaceae.
For many centuries Moringa Oleifera has been utilised for various purposes by the ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians. These historical groups believed Moringa to have medicinal properties and used its leaves to dress wounds. Evidence of the use of Moringa dates from the 18th dynasty (1550 – 1292BC) in Egypt when a tomb was found contain ing 10 jars of ‘Sweet Moringa Oil’.
Ancient Egyptians used Moringa oil widely as it provided a protective barrier on their skin from the harshness of the desert conditions.
The uses of Moringa vary, with every part of the tree being used for food and health. Morgina Oleifera superfood is a complete health product that will not only provide you with the vitamins you need, but will also improve your overall health as well. It is one of the most comprehensive superfood supplements on the health market because of its unique ability to provide so many vital requirements from one single source. It contains 36 anti-inflammatory agents and 46 different antioxidants, as well as containing mineral calcium, phosphorous, iron, potassium, magnesium, and vitamins A, B complex, C, D, E and K.
With so many health supplements on the market it can be confusing for the average person to understand which will be the best product for them. Not all supplements are ready for absorption, but Moringa can be easily absorbed by our digestive system. Moringa is an adaptogen and can help with issues relating to low blood pressure as well as high blood pressure. The reason why Moringa is so effective is because from the day you start taking it, it stimulates the liver detoxification process, which follows Chinese and Eastern medicine belief that you have to start with detoxification first. Your liver needs to be healthy before it is able to breakdown fats and start removing toxins, pathogens, heavy metals etc from the body.
Finally, as the great Hippocrates said "Food is medicine and medicine is food"
The whole theory is, if we feed our bodies with the nutrients it needs, then our body will have a chance to grow and repair, without any need of expensive treatment or other intervention.
